What makes someone employable?

In the health sector there are jobs available from Level 1 to Level 9.

Health sector staff are expected to have knowledge and skills in six core dimensions (as well as job specific skills and knowledge). The six core dimensions are:

• Communication
• Personal and people development
• Health safety and security
• Service improvement
• Quality
• Equality and diversity

Each dimension has four levels. LLN forms part of each core dimension, particularly the communication dimension.

Skills for Business defines a common set of skills for every level across all sectors:

• Behaviour and conduct
• LLN
• Intellectual skills and knowledge
• Work-related, specific skills
