Learning and Skills Council (LSC)

The Learning and Skills Council (England) is responsible for planning and funding higher education and training for young people and adults in England other than those in universities.

The LSC funds a wide range of initiatives designed to benefit employers and individual learners, including helping your organisation find the most suitable training providers.

Contact your local or regional LSC to find out how they may be able to support your organisation. Ask about the Action for Business Colleges initiative.

Information, advice and guidance (IAG) partnerships

Information, advice and guidance networks (such as Nextstep) offer an information and advice service to adults and may be able to support your staff gain new skills and make career decisions.

Local learning providers

Local learning providers include both private training companies and colleges that serve the local population.
