• Somerset and Dorset Case Study.This case study is an example of how Somerset and Dorset Strategic Health Authority (now the NHS South West) embedded the Skills for Life and Health agenda into existing policies and procedures within NHS organisations, establishing a Whole Organisation Approach.

• North Hampshire Hospital Trust Widening Participation Case Study. Context developing English and Maths was initiated by three organisations: North Hampshire Hospital Trust (NHHT) Human Resource/Training and Development departments, Hampshire Isle of Wight Workforce Development Confederation and Basingstoke College of Technology looking at issues related to staff development.
